Walking in the Love of God 1 Corinthians 13Love
1If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Cultivating the love of God in your life and sharing it with others is the key to experiencing the fullness of His power. Without love, the gifts of God are useless. And without those gifts in operation in your life, you are ultimately useless to God.
- In the last days, the love of many will grow cold (Matthew 24:4-12, AMP).
-
- Many people, including Christians, are abandoning the "love realm" in order to operate in the "flesh realm."
- Many are convinced that they walk in love but our actions tell alot.
- Your intimate relationship with God will determine the effectiveness of your relationship with others.
- By using your love walk with others, you perfect your love walk with God.
- Love enables you to live as a conqueror in the world.
- How can you perfect your love?
- Always keep God as the focal point of everything that you do. PURE MOTIVES
- Pray in tongues in order to keep yourself in the love of God (Jude 1:20-21).
- Practice loving everyone.
- The God-kind of love is not human.
- His love is supernatural and "Holy Spirit-injected."
- The human kind of love is conditional. God's love is unconditional.
- When you become born again, the Holy Spirit "injects," or pours, God's love into your heart (Romans 5:5, AMP).
- Loving others is proof that you are born again.
- You cannot separate God from His love (1 John 4:16).
- Love is the root to all that is God's (anointing, miracles, wealth, healing, etc.) and all that makes up God.
- To love God is to love His Word and align your life according to what it says.
- God is not selfish, and neither is love.
- Ask yourself, "Have I been in pursuit of love (God), or have I been pursuing my own selfish will?"
- Selfishness will hinder God's love from operating in your life.
- Allow love to overcome your selfishness.
- Love is the foundation of God's power.
- Loving others is not a sign of weakness.
- To exemplify love is to exemplify God, and this gives Him the opportunity to work through you.
- You must love others even when it's not easy to do so.
- Your love walk must be based on what the Word of God says, even when it instructs you to love others in unconventional ways.
- Matthew 5:43-44: "Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you."
- Ask the Holy Spirit to help you.
- Loving others even when it hurts positions you to live the "too much" lifestyle-a life of too much favor, anointing, wealth, goodness and health.
- Love will quench the spirit of strife.
- Make it a point to greet those who dislike you with a hug, a kiss or with words that will edify them.
- God's love in you will compel your enemies to constantly seek after you. They will want to be in contact with that love.
- Don't allow the fear of rejection to stop you from loving anyone.
- You must walk in love daily (1 Thessalonians 3:11-13).
- Christ will return for a people who have made walking in love a lifestyle.
- Your goal is to increase and abound in the love of God toward all people.
- The perfection of your love walk will not happen overnight; love is cultivated over time.
- Jesus will manifest Himself in your life when you love Him enough to obey His Word (John 14:22-23).
- Keeping God's Word requires that you don't obey Him just to get something from Him. Obey Him because you love Him.
- Become rooted and grounded in the love of God. It will be the "anchor" that will enable you to survive the storms of life (Ephesians 3:17).
- To fully understand and walk in the love of God, pray that you receive a revelation of His love.
- Once you receive a revelation of love, you will understand how to perfect the principles of God concerning other spiritual matters.
- Be on your guard; Satan will attempt to hinder you in your pursuit of the God-kind of love.
- The love of God is His power.
- You receive an endowment of power enabling you to do anything.
- Love is the power that you receive (Romans 5:5, AMP).
- Others will recognize that you belong to God because of your love walk. 3. Love demands a positive change in how you relate to others. 4. God (Love) is able to do exceeding, abundantly and above all that you could ever ask or think according to the love that is at work in you (Ephesians 3:20).
- The level of excess and abundance you experience will be determined by the love that is at work in you.
- Living a life of love will give you access to heaven and enable God to recognize you as His.
- Recognize that the Greater One (Love) lives in you (1 John 4:4).
- Love (God) is a "nuclear weapon" against satanic forces, because darkness cannot gain the upper hand when love is in control of your life.
- As you perfect your love walk, make plans to receive your end-time harvest.
- You experience immediate and positive results when you are quick to cultivate the love of God.
- Without love, you are a "useless nobody" (1 Corinthians 13:1-2, AMP).
- Cultivating the gifts of the Spirit is not as important as cultivating the fruit of the Spirit-love.
- Love is the master key to unlocking the things of God.
- LOVE IS A CHOICE YOU MAKE!!!!
