When I did prison ministry I had a young women named Shasta in my class. She was so sweet and young and my heart just went out to her in a special way...she was class pet....she has been out of prison for at least 10 years now. She has done so well...she teaches Sunday school...does mission work....has been with the same job all this time and has earned some awards for her work...please read her latest e-mail to me....look at that check.....look at her happy family....this son that is in the service and her second child where away from her the whole time she was in prison...a reunited family now....
I am sending this to you as an example to show you how God can use us to help others and to see the outcome...when God calls us to service we have no idea the ripple effect it has on this world...it shows that the love of God can restore anything that satan has broken apart....He can mend broken lives and broken hearts....He can bring back to us what satan has stolen from us....His Word is so true and He is so faithful to His Word...this is only one story and there is story upon stories like this....help write a story...answer God calling to you...just be there for someone in need....my Pastor spoke today about how important it is for us to encourage one another....it is..it can change a person's life and all who are part of that person's life...
Thank you for listening...
